Still a few more weeks until The Flash comes back from its final hiatus of the season. But we weren’t left empty handed as we got a couple of news items this week. Provided, as always, by our friends at The Flash Podcast (catch it here on The Mixx Radio Network at Wednesdays at 6 PM EST/3 PM PST), let’s go through this week’s news of all things Flash.

New The Flash 3.19 Trailer Released: Return Of Rogues

A new trailer was released by The CW this week with some new footage from episode 19 titled “The Once and Future Flash”. Not only will we see Killer Frost unleashed, but we will see the return of Mirror Master (Grey Damon) and The Top (Ashley Rickards), but with a twist. This will be the future versions of the characters as Barry goes to 2024 to try and get answers on who Savitar is.

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; BARRY TRAVELS TO THE FUTURE TO SAVE IRIS – Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton).  Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar.  It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues.  Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie (#319). Original airdate 4/25/2017.”

The Flash 3.20 Synopsis: “I Know Who You Are”

A new description for episode 20 was released by The CW this week. The episode will be called “I Know Who You Are” that will be big for several reasons. For starters, two friends will be forced to fight each other as Vibe must go up against Killer Frost, perhaps alluding to the vision he had of them fighting each other in the fall. In addition, this will be Anne Dudek’s debut on the show as Tracy Brand who is described as potentially being the key to stopping Savitar!

VIBE FACES OFF AGAINST KILLER FROST – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team meet Tracy Brand (guest star Anne Dudek), a scientist, who may be the key to stopping Savitar. Unfortunately, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) is also after Tracy so Team Flash must battle their old friend, which proves to be particularly difficult for Cisco (Carlos Valdes). Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cecile’s (guest star Danielle Nicolet) relationship takes a big turn. Hanelle Culpepper directed the episode written by Bronwen Clark & Joshua V. Gilbert (#320).
